Description
This very impressive French marble top cabinet is wonderfully decorated all over, with gilt bronze mounts, marquetry & beautiful veneers. It has a marble top, one drawer below & two cupboard doors, with shaped sides. This cabinet has a serpentine shaped front & serpentine shaped sides. The two doors have raised oval panels with stunning floral marquetry of many exotic woods. The rest of the wood is burr walnut & Kingwood, with the two woods complimenting each other nicely. The gilt bronze mounts are of fine quality & have been applied generously. The inside is fitted out with three shelves with brass galleries & I believe there is a light fitting inside which will need to be rewired.
