The watch has a hand-winding movement, with 18 jewels, which is working nicely. The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crowns and the lugs. The case is plated with a stainless less case back. Both the case and the lens are in good condition. The dial is in its original finish with original hands, gold centre seconds hand and blued steel alarm hand. There is a little marking to the finish but not too noticeable to the naked eye. The alarm is operated by winding the top crown (to wind the alarm function), turning the alarm hand anti-clockwise to the desired time and then pushing the crown back in. The alarm sounds like a cricket hence the name. A new black leather strap has been fitted. The watch will be sent in a vintage Sekonda presentation box. All of our watches are checked over before listing and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch. All of our prices include worldwide postage. Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the red Buy Now' button on each listing page. We are VAT registered and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations. We also welcome film / TV enquiries (we have supplied Peaky Blinders, Grantchester and Kenneth Branagh's Murder on the Orient Express to name just a few). Non-UK buyers are welcome but payment can be made by Paypal only. Please note that we are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers.
