A George I high-quality solid silver Hanoverian rattail pattern table spoon, dated 1718.
The silver is of higher purity 95.8%, hallmarked to the Britannia standard, and of substantial weight.
The reverse is crested with a lovely engraved bird motif. The front is free from monograms or initials, with no evidence of erasures.
