George II Curl Mahogany Small Chest of Drawers c.1740
This is a good 18th Century George II antique curl mahogany chest of drawers of small proportions. Four graduated drawers. The chest has a curl-mahogany top with ogee edge mouldings. Cock-beaded curl-mahogany drawer fronts with oak liners and drawer bottoms. Swan-neck brass handles. Supported on shaped bracket feet below a base moulding. It has an original pine back.

Overall this chest of drawers is in excellent condition commensurate with age. Minor historic knocks, marks and wear as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. All joints are sound and drawers run freely. Sympathetically restored in our workshop using traditional methods and materials. Retains its lovely aged original finish.
