George III Antique Silver & Blue Glass Sugar Bowl - London 1787

An excellent antique George III silver and blue glass sugar bowl or basket. Made in London in 1787 by Charles Chesterman. It has its original Bristol blue glass liner and a swing handle. The silver body is intricately etched and fret cut to show the liner. There is a full set of hallmarks under the single spreading foot. The basket is in superb condition with no damage or repairs.
