Description
A beautifully simple George III silver antique sugar caster. Made in London in 1778 by Thomas Shepherd. The caster has a full set of hallmarks under the foot and part marks on the top. It has a flame finial and engraved designs on the lid. Overall the caster is in good condition with signs of wear from its approximately 250 years of use. It is a great piece of Georgian silver and very collectable.
