John Mason was apprenticed in 1781 to William Glover and was in partnership with Edward Mason c.1790-1854. This is an early 19th Century 30 hour bell striking longcase or grandfather clock of convenient size for any home. movement is offered in full antique working order having been cleaned, checked and oiled. It has a charming clean square dial with floral decoration, date chapter and gilt corner decoration. oak and mahogany case with attractive graining raised on bracket feet.
