George IV Antique Scottish Silver Brandy or Sauce Pan - Edinburgh 1828

An incredibly large antique Scottish silver brandy or sauce pan. Made in Edinburgh in 1828 by George Paton a rare silversmith. The design is unlike standard brandy warmer pans. Unusually it has a lid and a covered pourer. There are a good full set of hallmarks on the body and the lid, there is also a garter crest on the front. There is a matching wooden finial and large handle. This pan is in exceptional condition with no damage or repairs. A wonderful piece of Scottish George IV silver, very collectable.
