A fine quality and rarer Georgian English triple fusee bracket/table clock. A mahaogany case with single pad top and brass handle. Fishscale brass side panels with glass inserts. An opening front door with convex glass and a strike/silent lever behind. Brass hands to the convex dial signed 'Wm. Green, London'. Brass fretwork front panels and a glass rear door. Ogee brass bracket feet. A rarer example with triple fusee mechanism striking the quarters on a rack of 8 bells and hourly bell strike. An engraved mechanism backplate and the original pendulum transportation lock. Circa 1810. There are a few William Green clockmakers working in London in the 18th and 19th century.
