Georgian Crossbanded Oak Tallboy Chest on Chest of Drawers

George III mahogany tallboy chest on chest of drawers. Made in the late 18th Century. Much better than most, recently (last few years) professionally restored. Original handles. Solid, strong and very heavy...splits into two halves for transport. No loose joints and the drawers slide freely. Rare, with a great colour and patina....has the wow factor. Overall maximum dimensions: 114cmW x 55cmD x 176cmH (87cm bottom, 89cm top). In very good antique condition with only minor historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections and repairs, as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. There are some historic extinct woodworm holes (expected for early period furniture), that we have treated for good measure.
