Georgian Longcase Clock

This is a beautiful George 3rd longcase clock with the most wonderful flame mahogany book matched veneers to the front of the case. To the sides of the trunk are a pair of octagonal pillars. The box base has ogee bracket feet which are original as is the majority of the clock. The moonphase arched dial has religious figures to the four corner, all appear to be reading scriptures. Signed in the centre Taylor - Rochdale well known in the area as a quality clockmaker. The movement is of eight day duration that strikes on the hour. Overall this clock is in very good condition, recently serviced and ticking away nicely.
