The table displays beautiful figured mahogany throughout the top with a rich colour and pleasing patina developed over time. The table is constructed in the traditional D-end format, comprising two D-end sections, a centre table section, and an additional removable extension leaf. This allows the table to be arranged in several configurations depending on the space required. With the centre section and additional leaf in place the table extends to form a generous long dining table suitable for larger gatherings, while the centre section alone provides a smaller dining table for everyday use. The top shows attractive figuring and retains a warm tone, complemented by a simple moulded edge typical of the period.
