Georgian Pocket Watch Chain Fob Key 1830s Antique Gilt & Opaline Stone Key

Georgian Gentleman's, large yellow gilt and opaline stone Antique pocket watch chain fob swivel key. C ~1830's (could certainly be earlier). Measures; 4.3cm height (including the top ring/bail), 2cm width and weighs a heavy 9.7 grams. Wonderful yellow gilt heavily scrolled bow and shell mount (same to both sides) holding an oblong shaped opaline stone to centre. Square end steel key shaft to base. Robust original gilt swivel top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with one or two tiny 'flea nibbles' to the edge of the stone and just a little bit of overall wear/patina commensurate with age.
