A stunning georgian silver gilt desk stand. This fabulous piece is by the renowned silversmith John Emes. Sitting on four feet and complete with an inkwell,pounce pot and chamber stick this is the perfect piece to enhance any desk or library. An armorial to both the stand and wax well can be seen along with hallmarks to each piece. Dated for London 1801 this is an early and important piece by one of England’s great silversmiths. Simply stunning.
