Description
Attractive and stylish George IV silver wine label as a letter "S" for Sherry with ornate cast decoration of scrolls and stylised vine leaves. Hallmarked for London 1830, no maker's initials due to lack of space but probably by William Sharp (we have another "M" label with maker's initials that appear to be those of William Sharp).

It measures 4cm (1 9/16") high by 3.2cm (1 1/4") wide and weighs 17g / 0.5ozt (including the chain).
