Description
Georgian Silver Mounted Cowrie Scottish Snuff. Silver (tested) mounted Georgian Cowrie shell snuff, gorgeous condition and quality with beautifully engraved decoration to the silver and with chased initials and the remains of a worn crest. There is an old repair to the lid just next to the hinge, see image, it’s been nicely done. Measures just short of 3¼ inches (8cm) long. All my photos are taken using natural light only. This is the best Cowrie snuff I’ve had, to date. Ready to use. Our ref 9667
