Gillows Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Elegant George III period inlaid mahogany chest of drawers by Gillows of Lancaster. Of gentle bow fronted form with a series of 4 long graduated drawers, fitted with bold solid brass handles. Very well constructed in solid mahogany with attractive flame mahogany veneers. The top cross banded and further embellished with a charming inlaid floral border. The drawer fronts decorated with floral inlaid detailing in boxwood and satinwood. With inlaid boxwood stringing throughout. All standing on lovely out-swept bracket feet. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard. Now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home. Bearing the makers stamp to the top drawer and also a retail label for Druce and Co, of London.
