This is a good early 20th century Malayer carpet in excellent condition dating from around 1930.
The hand woven carpet has an attractive design with a deep indigo field of vines in bloom, surrounded by plants enclosed by narrow borders of angular polychrome vines flanked by carnation guard stripes.
In super order ready for use this measures 192cm by 132cm
