Offered for sale is this good quality antique mahogany bureau bookcase which is of nice proportions. It has a Maker's label for Robson & Son Newcastle. It has a well carved pediment top, astro-glazed doors and 3 mahogany adjustable height shelves. Fall front bureau with internal drawers, cupboard & pigeon holes, original baize writing surface, 2 small pull out drawers with 4 larger drawers and original brass rococo handles. It stands on ornate carved bracket feet.
