Description
This is a good quality antique mid 19th Century Victorian period gilt frame with its original gilt finish in excellent order. The deep frame dates from around 1860 and measures 64cm by 49cm overall.

The aperture is 39.3cm by 24.5cm and the opening at the back to receive the painting is 26 by 41cm.
It is possible to remove the slip which would make a frame with an aperture of 42.8cm by 27.9cm and the opening to receive the picture would become 45cm by 30cm.
