Description
A lovely round silver trinket box of attractive design and dating from the reign of George V. The body of this attractive piece stands on three legs, with pad feet. The lightly domed lid is hinged and is engraved with engine turned design and has a central cartouche, with a lovely original monogram. The interior is fabric lined and the inside of the lid is gilded. A fine example from the sought after Chester Assay Office, that is both decorative and usable. Hallmarks:- Clear and readable.
