Description
A delightful silver vinaigrette of rectangular form. This splendid example has a unusual cushion shaped fully reeded body, with raised plain bands to both front and back. The reeded decoration continues to the sides and the hinged lid opens to reveal and fully gilded interior. The hinged grille is pierced and decorated with intricate acanthus engraving. A wonderful collector's piece.
