Gorgeous Silver & Guilloche Enamel Buckle Brooch

A gorgeous example of a hallmarked silver and guilloche enamel buckle brooch. This large statement piece is of lovely quality. The brooch is convex in shape, with a white guilloche enamel face surrounded by a deep silver border and rounded corners. The enamel is decorated with elegant pink Rose garlands around a large pastel pink guilloche enamel diamond. The diamond is finished with a gilt border and to the centre is a further red enamel diamond, simulating individual ruby stones. The brooch is secured with a strong hinged pin and an early example of a roll over clasp to the reverse.
