The good quality Drp (German) 8 day movement is numbered 554828 29483. (so, quite a low numbers) & plays soft mellow westminster chimes on each quarter. plus on the o’clock it strikes the number of hours. Strike/silent and chime/silent levers The case is in good solid structure with good patina, long trunk door & raised on bracket feet.
