Description
A very handsome English oak chest of 5 drawers from a Manor house in Leicestershire in lovely condition. Very much classic in style - we have a flight of 3 graduated long drawers topped by 2 half drawers, deep bottom plinth and an oversailing top.
The quality is good on this one - solid English oak of a lovely tone with well chosen grains. Solid brass swan neck handles and oak lined drawers. Its scale means it's perfect for so many spaces and types of interiors.
When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for Worldwide shipping.
For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.

Condition is good - the chest sits firm, its heavy being solid oak not veneers, all drawers are running well and the insides of drawers are clean with a few historic marks but nothing off putting. Expect an early 20th century chest of fine order with sensible aging. We have ensured the chest is ready for placing.
