Description
Handsome Silver & Glass Jar. 1910. Very smart, large jar with a rolled top edge to the glass and a beautifully cut star to the base. The plain silver top has a mirror to the inside, Clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1910 by the silversmith John Grinsell & Sons. No dings, cracks or restoration. The mirror has a few scratched from it’s 110 years plus use. The top of the jar has a diameter of 6 inches (15cm) and stands just short of 5 inch (12cm) to the top of the knop handle. See image.
