The tallboy has been restored albeit very sympathetically to its original look. Many hours/days have gone into this as its a laborious process and cannot be achieved in one go. The results speak for themselves. The interior shelf has been cleaned and sanded back. One handle had a piece missing and this was restored using 100 year old oak painstaking carved to match and is not noticeable but needs to be pointed out. The previous owner had done something and all their careless work had to be restored. The sides have a new lease of life. The top was in a terrible condition. The front has been given another 100 years of future use. One back leg had a loose piece and this was glued and clamped. There are three drilled holes (in the plywood back) visible from the back as the tallboy was obviously used to house some electrical items. The top drawer has remnants of the Heal & Son round disc. Further photos are available as only twelve are permitted for this advert / listing. All drawers are solid oak of the highest grain/quality as one would expect.
