Henry VIII silver halfgroat.
A decent profile issue silver halfgroat from the reign of king Henry VIII.
Mintmark is a key - 1530- 1544 - second coinage.
This bears the letters EL for archbishop Lee as well as CIVITAS EBORACI for York.
Flan is relatively full and is quite well centred.
The flan is quite flat.
Legends are quite clear ‘henric VIII…’ in places but lost elsewhere.
