Description
A rather rare coin being a hammered silver testoon from the reign of hung henry VIII.
This is from his third coinage from near the end of his reign.
This example is noted as being from the Bristol mind and bears the WS (William Sharrington) monogram in the legend to top right of the crowned Tudor rose.
Some pleasing detail remaining and a relatively full flan - some clipping in places.
As is usual for these coins a lot of detail of the king has been lost to time.
