An excellent and long antique silver skewer made by Hester Bateman and hallmarked in London 1788. It is in very good condition with just minor surface marks. It is longer than most and and made with a thick gauge of silver so has a very solid feel. It incorporates a ring handle and hallmarks are clearly struck.
