Highly Attractive Oak Arts and Crafts Bookcase Bureau c.1910

A very charming Arts & Crafts oak bookcase bureau with a delightful little glazed double door top for storage. This one is sensible in scale and sits in a lovely mid oak tone and is ready to place after a careful clean and gentle beeswax polish in our workshop. Plenty to enjoy about this piece - the little glazed top with its curved frame and original patterned glass, the useful shelves with delightful spear piercing, working locks and keys for the fall front and slender drawer with original pressed handles that sit underneath, useful fitted interior, attractive top plinth and its made of solid English oak… Condition is good with sensible historic wear and the odd mark or two but nothing nasty. A well cared for piece with a wonderful lived in look. A rather super piece of Arts & Crafts furniture English c.1910.
