Impressively Detailed All Brass All Original King Size Bed

A particularly charming all brass king size bed. Very nicely detailed throughout, without being too ornate. The castings have a charming naive cross shape with hammer chased background, something about the shaping of which just looks super attractive. The foot has a very nice curved shape where the top and bottom rails meet the posts. A truly charming bed. The bed has a gorgeous patina which we have cleaned and highlighted. It catches the light beautifully whilst still respects the age of this stunning bed. Professionally restored with all joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The side rails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base. Whole frame has been cleaned, tightened and restored to ensure full working order and sturdiness. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on a 2” base with our Montpellier mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections if needed.
