A rare and incredible quality 18th century Dutch Delft doré butter tub, cover and stand painted in typical palette with shipping scenes within shaped panels of flowers, stylized scrolls and leaf borders. The cover surmounted with a snail finial. Lovely decoration and colour Iron red "VH" marks. In excellent overall condition except for two tiny re-glued chips to the cover.
