Inlaid Rosewood Floral Marquetry Table

This is a lovely late 19th Century French inlaid rosewood table of fine construction and wonderful quality. The shaped top is surrounded with a gilt brass edging and is decorated with a kingwood banding and profuse floral marquetry inlaid detailing. The floral marquetry inlay continues to all four sides and indeed this table could be free standing within a room if desired. There is a single long drawer to the front. The elegant cabriole legs have ormolu mounts to the knees and feet.
