A beautifully carved Italian alabaster sculpture of a female signed in the alabaster, Pugi. This alabaster sculpture is in very good condition with fine detail. Gugielmo Pugi (1850- 1915) born in Fiesole a small town close to Florence. He was a highly regarded and skilled sculptor who specialised in female figures and busts.
Burgett Langfield has clarified that the Italian Carved Alabaster Sculpture Signed by Pugi (LA351934) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1900
