The piece is richly carved, with detailed work around the top moulding and elegant motifs across the doors. Later painted in a soft distressed white, it has a gentle, time‑worn look that enhances its curves and carvings, while the hand‑painted distressed marble top adds depth and sophistication. The two cupboard doors open to reveal sliding internal shelves, painted in a distressed blue‑green — a lovely contrast that adds charm and character.
