Ivory GPO 314L with Drawer

This is a magnificent example of a GPO 314L with drawer. As you can see this is a beautiful looking telephone and has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. The handset is marked 1953 and base is dated 1955 and it has been fitted with a best quality hand plaited all British manufactured braided handset cord and an electronic microphone to give perfect speech quality. The line in is round plastic ivory colour with a UK telephone plug socket. The dial is a genuine GPO No 12 stainless steel dial. The bell on bell off mechanism is a genuine mechanical switch and is wired up to work perfectly to turn the bell on or off. The centre button is for show and looks fabulous. This telephone has been fully tested on a special line simulator and then tested on our own BT line. Fabulous and all original. I can fit a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
