Description
Offered for sale is a lovely pair of late Georgian antique brass candlesticks by John Turner & Co of Birmingham, England, circa 1818-1820, baluster and hexagonal standard over stepped circular base, each marked on base "J.T & Co".
John Turner & Co of Birmingham was listed in the Birmingham 'Wrightson' directories of 1818 and 1823. Very few antique brass candlesticks bear Maker's marks.
