Superb 17th-century English joined-arm chair, also known as a Wainscot armchair. The superb carved back features initials and a beautiful sculpted back rest with shapes and a flower. Original sitting which is rare, as these are often replaced. It rests on a beautiful turned base connected by wooden stretchers.
