Kieninger & Obergfell (West Germany, circa 1960) Modernist world clock. World map design with time zones. The case and base are of brass. The centre of the clock represents the North pole. The world map is divided in to time zones starting at Greenwich time. The other time zones indicate plus or minus, so you can tell the time in other parts of the world. It also has a black and white rotating dial that indicates night and day in a 24 hour basis, which can be adjusted. Stamped underneath: "Kieninger & Obergfell" Made in West Germany.
