Lacquered 8 Day Longcase / Grandfather Clock

Offered for sale is this lacquered longcase clock / grandfather clock. The attractive case with a long arched trunk door containing chinoiserie figures, birds and gold decorations. Side windows to the hood. The flat top hood. Case standing just over 78" high The 12" square brass engraved dial, with the makers name "John Little", A John Little of Annan" which can be found listed in B Loomes clockmakers as dated 1836/1860. The 8 day striking movement, in working order, with weights winding key and pendulum.
