Ladies Accurist Wrist Watch 1974 Solid Silver 925 Swiss 21 Jewels Serviced & FWO

Ladies high grade Swiss 21 jewel vintage Accurist wrist watch in a solid silver 925 (fully hallmarked) case with integral solid silver chunky bark effect bracelet strap. Fully serviced in February 2025, full working order and keeps excellent time with the regulator being correctly sat in the central position. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures as was extremely difficult to photograph). DIAL:- Highly attractive, slightly textured ivory coloured dial (changes colour hue in different light as can be seen in my photographs) which is in lovely condition with no damage and just a micro bit of overall patina (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age. Clearly stamped in black script; ACCURIST 21 JEWELS and signed in black script to base of dial; SWISS MADE. Raised silver baton stick markers (still retain their black central stripes) with original black steel delphine hour and minute hands both in good straight, un-marked order. Original oval shaped bevel edge crystal in lovely condition with just one or two fine little surface scratches - again showing under eyeglass only. CASE:- Bright solid silver engine turned bark effect case measures 1.5cm width (excluding the crown) . The textured back cover is clearly stamped to the outside within an oblong shaped cartouche with the silver purity; 0.925 and is fully hallmarked to the inside (within different shaped, recessed cartouches); .925, import mark and lower case letter; t - dating her to 1974 (London). Stamped with the makers initials; A.W LD (Accurist Watch Limited) and stamped with the case makers initials; JAM (J.A.Main) MOVEMENT:- Top grade Swiss 21 jewel steel plate lever movement which carries the most wonderful bright engine turning to the top plates - the detail of which remains as crisp and clear today as the day it was made. Clearly stamped; 21 JEWELS and beautifully stamped in bright blue arched enamel script around the mainspring barrel cover; ACCURIST. Original winding crown (takes a full wind, micro bit of wear to outer edge only showing under eyeglass) and hand set operates smoothly and correctly. STRAP:- Complete with her original integral chunky solid silver bracelet strap which measures 17cm / 6 5/8" maximum length and has a secure fold over clasp. Hallmarked to the back of the clasp (again within different shaped, recessed cartouches); .925, import mark and lower case letter; t with the makers initials; A.W.LD. Correctly hallmarked; 925 to the side of the ladder clasp at the opposite end. APPRAISAL:- A Ladies highly attractive classic vintage Swiss wrist watch in super condition which looks to have had very little use - perhaps only high days and holidays.
