Large 19th Century French Wrought Iron Console

A Large 19th Century French Wrought Iron Console Table with Marble Top. Of interesting shape, this table has a lovely marble top supported on a wrought iron and parcel gilded console frame base. It is of particularly large and important size, and was probably designed for a grand house. The rococo revival design of the base, has a stylised shell design in gilt, and is finely worked and beautifully balanced in both practical and decorative terms. A very attractive and interesting table.
