Large 19th Century Reception Salon Chaise in Green Velvet
This is a large and very comfortable piece, it is upholstered in soft green velvet and has 2 matching elbow cushions, leading down from these the fronts of the arms are carved joined by a long footboard all under a serpentine shaped carved back rail.
This is a very impressive piece and well suited to a large lobby or reception hall. An impressive and comfortable example of country house elegance, in very good condition.
The settee is 78” long, 49” high and 29” deep, the seat height is about 18”.
