Offered for sale is this large early 20th Century antique hand-woven wool Afghan carpet
The rug measures approx 150 inches long x 99 inches wide.
A fine old Afghan carpet with a strong definition to pattern and good colour balance.
Due to the size & weight of this carpet overseas postage will be fairly expensive, please contact us for a quote.

Elder Books & Collectables has clarified that the Large Antique Afghan Carpet Hand Woven Wool - Traditional Design c.1920 (LA434326) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1920
condition
Usual wear to fringes,small hole with slight loss to pile at one end & to the left of hole a further minor area of wear with small amount of loss to pile (see image) one side to carpet is slightly out of shape (see image).
Overall a carpet in very good condition with good even pile & no major damage or repairs.
Please note this is not a new rug and will show signs of use. i have taken plenty of images to help with condition.
