Large Antique Charles Horner Sterling Silver Hat Pin Chester 1907

On offer is this large antique Charles Horner hat pin fully hallmarked with a full set of English hallmarks for Chester 1907 and also bearing the CH initials for Charles Horner. This hat pin is illustrated on page 146 of Tom J. Lawson's book "Charles Horner of Halifax". This hat pin measures a total of 23.5 cm in length with the large head alone measuring 3.8 cm in height. The silver head features thick twisted silver wires in an entrelac design with three silver ball finials. The hat pin head has no damage with no dents or dings to the silver head and is fitted with a long and straight steel pin which ends in a sharp point. The steel pin has some normal light age related tarnish. Thank you for your interest.
