Large Arts & Crafts Oak Cabinet c.1915

Found in the large kitchen of a country pile in Shropshire, this one with its Arts & Crafts influences survive in wonderful condition, ready to place and appreciate. Plenty to like about this piece – those large copper handles to the three deep drawers, the large stocky shaped oak feet, the aging and tone of the oak and the ever useful “cubby hole” are a few that spring to mind. Condition wise it's good, we of course have historic aging and marks but nothing nasty, it sits firm and heavy with no wobbles, the drawers are running as they should and overall it’s a great piece for a period or modern home. Our base is a large Victorian 2 storey red brick barn on a wonderful traditionally run country estate in Staffordshire. For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item.
