Large Early 1900's Milking Stool
REF: 1001269 / LA357551
Good size milking stool from around the early 1900's. Chunky seat with a central grab hole and four chamfered legs and a pair of dovetailed cross braces under the seat. Very unique and unusual designed stool. Whoever designed and made it, wanted to make the legs as stable and secure as possible. So instead of only attaching the legs to the seat, they created this dovetailed jointed cross brace underneath to give the spindle legs something greater to secure to. Thus making this very nice stable milking stool. Lovely colour and grain to the timber and each leg is chamfered for some extra detail. Period: Early 1900's Material: Rustic Pine
