Description
A fine quality antique Victorian folding fruit knife, dated 1899.
Features genuine mother-of-pearl scales, a hallmarked sterling silver blade, and a beautifully engraved silver bolster with brass liners.
The piece features an unusually wide fileworked spine, approximately 3 mm thick, complementing a substantial silver blade measuring 1.8 mm at its widest point -considerably thicker than is usual for examples of this type.
Supplied in a presentation box, suitable for display or gifting.
