Description
Large French Decorated Gothic Hall Lantern Ceiling Light
This is a large and very heavy hall lantern it is a classic elaborate Gothic design decorated with animals, caryatid and symbolic characters. The lamp is lit with one bulb at the centre with fully glazed sides and bottom and will need to be connected to an electrical supply, it can be fitted on to an existing ceiling pendant. The lamp is made in solid brass and has frosted glass panels.
The workmanship of the piece is superb, and it looks wonderful when it lit up. It was originally made for a large Manor in the Brittany region of France.
The lantern is 11” across and 20” high
